This sleeping beauty is very dear to Andal as she is a Prapannan (one who did Saranagati). Andal states that being welcomed by a Prapannan is such an honour for them, but the Gopika is still sleeping. “I know you are being protected by Him, but please wake up so that we can all worship Him together.”, Andal said, “We can enjoy the grace of the Lord while doing our daily chores.” Andal implored the Gopikas to rise and do their duty.
