Nappinnai having heard about the arrival of Andal and gopis, tries to wake up, but in vain. Andal says, “Oh Nappinnai!, (who is the embodiment of Daya), we have come here chanting His name that chases away the darkness in our minds, we followed the path shown by our Gurus that enrich our knowledge (Seyyadana seyyom). Please come out and let us have His thiruvadi sambandam.”
