Radha-Krishna

Krishna is the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. His youthful and charming interactions with the Gopis (cowherds) symbolize the interplay between God and the human soul. The love between Radha and Krishna is considered to be eternal.

Radha, who was one of the Gopis, and Krishna lived in Vrindavan. Radha was ecstatically in love with Krishna and was one of his favourite consorts and his constant companion. Krishna often played the flute when he went with the cowherds, which often mesmerized Radha. The sound of his flute would enchant the Gopis and they would dance around him. In this picture, I have portrayed Krishna with his magical flute and Radha fully in awe of him.
