Vid. Neyveli B. Venkatesh Mridangam
Neyveli B. Venkatesh is a Chennai-based mridangam player. His rhythm training began under his father AS Balaramanan, and continued under PP Venkatesan and MN Kandaswamy Pillai. His promising career has already featured top accompaniment slots and numerous collaborations, and he is renowned for superb solo performances, such as a 28-hours non-stop marathon session in Neyveli!
Vid. Abilash Giriprasad Vocal
Identified as one of the youth stars of Carnatic Music, Abilash Giriprasad was initiated into this art form at the tender age of 4. Having learnt for many years from Vidwan Sri A. S. Murali (Senior faculty member, Kalakshethra Foundations, Chennai), Abilash represents the illustrious Semmangudi baani in Carnatic Music and is one of the Youth Icons of Carnatic Music.
Vid. N. Guruprasad Ghatham
Guruprasad is the son of ghatam vidwan Shri K. Nagaraja Rao and Smt Kallammal. He had his initial training under his father and later underwent gurukulam under ghatam maestro Shri T.H. Vikku Vinayakram. Subsequently he received training from ghatam vidwan Shri V. Suresh, and mrudangam vidwan “Laya Chudaroli” Madurai Shri T. Srinivasan. He regularly accompanies the senior most artists in the field of Carnatic Music, and is highly sought after in the film industry as well as for collaborations with world renowned artists of various genres.
